Do I need to pay to use OlympiadCloud?

No. Every account gets one free exam — no credit card required. After that, upgrade to an annual pass to keep practising. Free accounts have access to all subjects and grade levels.

What grade levels are supported?

Grades 1 through 12. Exams are tagged to a grade range so you only see content that is relevant to your level.

Our question bank is modelled on SOF (IMO, NSO, IEO), NTSE, Homi Bhabha, and various state-level olympiad papers. We do not reproduce official papers — we write original questions in the same style and difficulty.

How does the timer work?

The timer runs on our server from the moment you start an exam. It does not pause if you close the browser, lose internet, or navigate away. This mirrors real exam conditions. Your remaining time is calculated fresh each time you reload the page.

What happens if I lose internet mid-exam?

Your answers are saved automatically every time you select an option. If you lose connection, your saved answers are preserved. Re-open the exam URL and continue — the timer kept running while you were away.

Can I go back and change answers?

Yes. You can navigate between questions in any order and change your answers freely until you submit or time expires.

What happens when time expires?

The exam is auto-submitted with whatever answers you have saved at that moment. You will see your result immediately.

How is my score calculated?

Each exam has a configurable marking scheme set by the exam admin. Typically correct answers earn positive marks and incorrect answers earn zero or a small negative mark. Your total score is shown immediately after submission.

How is my rank calculated?

Your rank is the count of all other students who scored higher than you on the same exam, plus one. For example, if 40 students scored higher than you, your rank is 41. All rankings are anonymous — you see a number, not names.

Can I see the correct answers after submitting?

Yes. After submission you get a full per-question review: your answer, the correct answer, and a written explanation for every question.

How does the free exam work?

Every new account gets exactly one free exam. There is no monthly reset — it is a one-time trial. Once you have used it, upgrade to a Starter Pack or an annual pass to continue practising.

Do paid plans auto-renew?

No. All paid plans are annual — you pay once and get 12 months of access from the purchase date. There is no automatic renewal. When your plan expires you can choose to renew manually.

What payment methods do you accept?

UPI (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, BHIM) — processed through Razorpay. All payments are in INR.

Is there a refund policy?

If you are charged and experience a technical issue on our side, contact us at hello@olympiadcloud.com within 7 days and we will process a refund. We do not refund for unused exam credits.
